I have a problem that the charge light doesn't seem to go on if I swap out a Li-ION and put in a NiMH, what is more the thing beeps every 5 seconds under W95. The NiMH battery seems to charge albeit slowly (took overnight for a full charge). The meter sees the battery charge, the presence or absence of the ac adapter, and conecting/disconnecting the adapter combined with combinations of resetting or shutting the lid didn't clear the problem. I even did a discharge-charge cycle to no avail.
Until I tried the Li-ION I didn't have any problems with the NiMH, the meter and charging seemed normal. Any ideas?
