(OT)Shark 250 Problems

Sorry for the OT post but this is only place I can think of where there is
a chance I might get some good responses.
I have a Avatar Shark 250 that will not read any disks and I've got stuff
on them I need. Anyone have any thoughts including any other place where
I might ask for help?
