I fear we have a problem with semantics. On the _left_ side of the 760C are the
following items: headphone jack, microphone/line in jack, modem/fax port, power
switch and what IBM calls an option cover.
To the best of my knowledge this option cover is used _solely_ with the TV
tuner. It is _not_ for a DSP chip. But, I've been wrong before!
I'll ask again. Have you tried testing the DSP in setup? If the DSP is missing
>from this unit the test will be greyed out and non-functional. What OS are you
running?
