Yeah I sent a system back for strange problem with display and HDD passwd.
They replaced the board, then tried to pinn the cost of a new HDD on me
assuming I had simply forgot the passwd. The problems were obviously
related!! After haggling with them for a week or so, I got a nice service
tech. who replaced the drive without getting validation to do warranty work
on it(they sent me a new drive). He understood what was going on. Like the
above poster mentioned, just stand a firm ground.
