I wonder, is it difficult for the list to have a filter
so that:
Every message with "unsubscribe" in the subject line (such as
this one!) does not go to the list, but receives a reply telling
how to unsubscribe;
Every message in HTML or with an attachment greater than ?K
does not go to the list, but receives a suitable reply;
Every message to the list from a non-subscriber does not go to
the list, but receives a message telling how to subscribe.
To do the first thing, at islandnet.com, I'd put the following
line in the mailrule file:
reply if subject contains "unsubscribe" with "unsub.txt"
and I'd have to prepare the reply email "unsub.txt" (with headers)
However, the other two things would be trickier!
If this is "real work", please accept my apology in advance.
