Folks,
I popped for an Andrea ANC-600 Microphone and
picked up a copy of IBM ViaVoice Executive to
set up my TP600 for voice dictation.
Everything works, but I'm having problems with
the jack. I plug blue TP adapter plug into the
"mic in" on the side of the TP, then plug the
jack into the blue adapter. No signal. Then
I unplug the headphone jack, and slowly reinsert
back into the adapter plug until it just touches
but doesn't click. Now it works. I tape the
thing together so it doesn't pull back out, and
start training.
Under Devices, Every Crystal PnP Audio driver
is loaded correctly under Sound, video & Game
Controllers. No conflicts in Win98, etc. The
microphone works properly on another PC.
Something's obviously wrong - any ideas?
Mark
