Jeroen,

I can answer the difference question. After *much* squinting at the spec
sheets last night, I think I have determined the subtle $100 difference
between the four 26296 models. There are two Operating Systems offered as
preloads, Windows 98 and Windows 2000. That is the obvious difference.

The less obvious difference is the Communications Bay component. The more
expensive configurations in each case include the IBM 10/100 EtherJet Mini
PCI Adapter with 56K Modem. The less expensive gets just the 56K V90 Mini
PCI Card.

So 2 x 2 configurations seems to suggest:

2629-6TU Windows 2000 EtherNet and Modem US$4,099
2629-62U Windows 2000 Modem Only US$3,999
2629-6SU Windows 98 EtherNet and Modem US$3,999
2629-61U Windows 98 Modem Only US$3,899

As far as the power adapter, I would think so but I don't know for absolute
certain.

David
