Hi David!

You haven't turned your 600 into a FrankenPad? "3 times bigger drive, more
memory, DVD, Win2k and so on" are all add-ons. Toshiba 18Gb drives (nicer
than IBM) are $357 at sparco.com.

But the new screen--that's something else. A lot more pixels, but tiny ones.
They are Libretto-size pixels--the same size you get on a 6.9" 640x480 or
11" 1024x768 display. Most fonts you can adjust easily, but those dang
Windows MS Sans Serif 8 or Tahoma 8 dialog fonts are going to be kind of
small. (Hmm... Tahoma... Does that mean the dialog font is scalable in
Win2K?)

In any case, the new screen should be very nice!
