I think you may be right. I know regular fluorescent lights can have
slightly different warmths to them even though they are supposed to be the
same. Also, you will find that these types of lights change color over
time.

I would say that the 770's we have here have yellowed somewhat over the past
year compared to when they were new. They have been used a lot so the
screens have been on for many hours.

Huh. Thanks for the data. So now I wonder if the flourscent display
behind the
units can differ somehow. Not knowing how that part is built, it seems
logical
that that would be the differing item--I wouldn't think the LCDs themselves
would have this variance?
