Hello! I've been looking at desktop monitors to replace my dead
one.
One that is highly rated in a ZD review is the IBM P92, now
replaced by the P96. It's a 19" FD Triniton. Surprisingly they
were down on the Mitsubishi 900u.
Most of these monitors seem to have a choice of DB15 or 5xBNC
inputs. But the specs on the IBM monitor imply the cable is
hard-wired to the monitor.
Is anyone familiar with this monitor? Is it hard-wired? If so, am
I correct in thinking it's hard-wired in a good way, equivalent to
the 5xBNC? (It's about C$50 more than the Mitsubishi, but a BNC
monitor cable costs ~C$40).
(BTW, I know this is total overkill for my TP600's resolution, but
I'm getting a desktop machine that will drive it acceptably).
Thanks!
