1. the HDD size is not reported correctly because they never anticipated a gig+
HDD in the 701, so all you can see is the change over the multi-gig level..
thus a 2.1gig drive will show .1gig..
no matter though, it DOES see it and use all that is there..
2. the bios is the latest AFAIK..
3. what I do to copy files to the 701 HDD is pop the drive out of the 701 shell
and into a 760 0r 770 HDD shell, then put it in the ultrabay of my 770Z and do a
direct copy.. just the load files, not the entire CD.. in the case of w2k, i
just copied the i386 directory and contents..
FWIW: i have win2000 running on a 701C.. very few minor problems.. i did it to
use the machine as a printer server..
