Methinks this needs to go into an FAQ of some sort, along with the
simultaneous IR/serial question.

Generic Y cables often work - I got mine at Fry's for the grand price of
$6.95. Unless you need to have IBM stamped on everything you use, I say
buy the cheapest one you find. If it doesn't work, return it! :-)
