Does anyone know if a 4.8Gb Travelstar 6GN drive can
be made to work in a TP760EL? I just got one and when
I put it in place of the 2Gb drive the TP doesn't even
recognize it. Does it need another BIOS update to make
it work or is 2Gb the limit? I put it in my Dell
Latitude XPiCD and it works fine. It even works as a
second drive in the TP's ultrabay when in a hard drive
adapter. I could partition and format the drive and
copy files to it but was not able to boot from it.
Seems strange that the drive will work in the ultrabay
but not in the primary bay.
