You don't really mean "the majority of laptop owners", do you? You
hardly got a random sample of laptop owners, at best you got a
random sample of some laptop (Thinkpad or Picturebook) owners who
also are online (or were online during the period the survey was
available) and respond to surveys! Your next sentence started,
"the majority of respondents" which is correct.
