What it sounds like is you need to recalibrate the stylus in Easy Setup.
I had this happen once when I was fooling around in Easy Setup.
What you do is after having the machine completely off, press and hold the power switch,
while putting the stylus on the suspend button (you might have to hold down the
button). Release both when you see the copyright/memory count screen.
Then select the digitizer option from Easy Setup. Press lightly on the cross on the screen.
If you press really hard, it will be almost impossible to click on anything.
