An 8 track interface... I love it.
I'm glad you bought what you wanted to. All too often, we (myself included)
tend to forget that the selection of a laptop is easily as personal as deciding
what stereo to buy, or whatnot. What one person likes, another may not.
Have fun with your 770--may it function well for you for years...
