Hello.

The 701 can easily handle 32 meg SO-DIMM memory with no problem.
The max a 701 can go to is 40 meg with no soldering, 64 if one is willing
to change the planer board memory, even more if one is willing to mess
with the BIOS and plop 64 meg SO-DIMM in .
The limit?, the theory is 128 megs can fit in the address limits, however I
know of no one who has gone to the address limits.
The SO-DIMM is standard, a 32 meg unit will work, just remember, it needs
4 k of reference memory.
