         I came from W98 too, but I don't like perusing on-line help files
for anything in-depth (and most of the time, there is *no* depth to speak of).

         Perhaps its because my needs are a bit more complicated than most,
but I felt the book--while not a panacea--was helpful in solving my
networking issues. And IMO, there is enough difference between the 2000
platform and 98, that it would be good for a reasonably serious user to pay
attention and know those issues.

         What can I say--I like documentation. :-)
