[TP240] Linux & NT ok?

Folks:

     I am about to bite the bullet; get a 240 (the early Celeron
300MHz model) - they are hovering around $1K. Question: I plan on
removing W98 and installing Linux and NT. Are there any pitfalls to
watch out for?
