The default autoexec.bat file that comes on the Thinkpad creates a
hibernation file.
If it is already there, you get that message. Doesn't hurt anything...and
if you
accidentally wipe out your hibernation file, it will get recreated next
time you reboot.

Each time I boot up, I have a message displayed for a few seconds that
states:
"Hybernation file is already present".
Does this indicate a configuration problem or something?
