That may be so, but I remain unilluminated as to how this makes "some of us"
"True Thinkpad Folks". IBM has always produced several price/performance
ranges in the lineup. As I recall both my 360C and my 560 were "one year
warranty machines" - did the purchase of these machines, which gave great
satisfaction, place me and others in the category of "Non-True Thinkpad
Folk"?

This may require clarification on a priority basis. I understand there are
two new lines of modestly priced Thinkpads on the way, the 1200 and 1300
series, and "some of us" will need to determine the "True Thinkpad Folkness"
of the owners in order to avoid further confusion.
