I consider myself just as much a "Thinkpad Folk", as anyone else on
this list.. I own two Thinkpads, a 755c, and an 1420i.
I will admit, I have had problems with both of them, but that is NORMAL
with any computer. {Sure, my 1420i has some problems that need to be
fixed by the factory, but that is normal.)
Second, IBM has treated me great every time that I have called them,
and so far service has been verty fast and efective. The last time I
sent my Thinkpad in, I had it back in working condition in less than a
week. If that is not great service, I do not know what is. If IBM says
it is a thinkpad, it is a thinkpad.
