Yes, I am aware that warranty extensions are available -at additional cost.
That additional cost then increases the total cost, of course.
So, if like me, you are on a tight budget, want the light weight, want the dvd
and want the three year warranty then you just add them all up in your
comparison and, viola!, you see what a great deal these 600Es are... Heck, if I
had had the extra bucks I would have still bought a 600 but gone for the X model
-but, for me, that speed increase just wasn't worth another grand (that I
didn't have anyway).
