What metal is the "chrome?"
Copper will turn black, or many other colors,
depending on what it encounters. It is the most
volatile of all metals used in American coinage.
The salt in your wrists could be the culprit, as could
contaminate particles in the air.
Depends on the nature of the "chrome" metal that
has become exposed to contact.
