When you say that finding a good keyboard on 760
series is tougher that's the understatement of the
year. I think they lost the art of making a usable
keyboard and viewable displays after making the 700C.
The keys on my 760EL are so bad that it's impossible
to touch type on them and difficult even to hunt and
peck since most of the keys stick. The wide keys won't
go down at all unless they are pressed right in the
center. After having it replaced under warranty it was
worse since they didn't lube any of the moving parts
in the new one. The 760EL is not suitable for
wordprocessing at all due to the keyboard and the
display which is dark and fuzzy, so try it before you
buy.
