I have tried various OpenGL/Direct3D games under ME, and they all get stuck
5-10 minutes into the game, requiring a complete power-off to get out of: Quake 3,
Soldier Of Fortune and a few others.
So, go to IBM's site, download the newer video drivers.
Windows ME will NOT let me install the Thinkpad A20m driver I downloaded
>from our Thinkpad site. It says "this driver is not certified by Micro$oft, so I will
not install it." You can't even bypass that warning!
Surprise: Certification is a new trick by the "innovation company"
and second surprise, I bet certification is NOT free for those companies.
Another ploy by the "innovators" to suck more cash out of all of us.
Time to reformat and install Linux... :(
