i have been warning for months that memory was rising in general and was
expected to do so until the new year..
and that EDO memory was going up faster..
reason being (EDO only) is that many manufacturers are or have switched to
making SDRAM..
lower supply = higher prices..
my last price list from apricorn the 64meg part for a 560 was $219..
nothing amiss, no mischief afoot, merely the marketplace doing what it
does..
same forces that acted to bring prices down are now doing the opposite..
