I would think that if the keyboard logic was getting messed up in the
wiring because of conductive dirt (something I've always wondered about,
but have seen), you'd find more keys that did strange stuff like that. At
least, thats been my experience with such keyboard failures in the past,
albeit on non-ThinkPads.
