I have two thinkpads, both decidedly non-new. A 701C and a 560, both with
two or three bad pixels. The bad ones are such that they never become
transmissive in one primary color, which means that a solid white screen
has a pixel or two of cyan or magenta on it, but a black screen looks
normal. I wonder if these can develop over time?
