Hi!

Maybe someone could explain the following?

Consider a ThinkPad 760XD. Now I want to attache an external
Keyboard. I got the appropriate adaptor cable, and linked
the keyboard. This worked. Fine. I added the mouse and the
external keyboard was dead.

Now I got a 760ED, attached the same, nothing worked. I
added a mouse at the ED, and the keyboard was ok. That is
the ED found the external keyboard _only_ if I attached the
mouse. It doesn't find the external keyboard if I attache
only the keyboard.

Both behaviours is absolutely reproducable. Any ideas what
happens here??

BTW: I added th keyboard to the XD, booted up and attached
the mouse. Now the mouse worked, the keyboard was dead
again, removing the mouse => Trap, the system is reset.
(I use OS/2 of course.)
