Bob,

I'm using a Lucent/aka WaveLAN/aka Orinoco 802.11 PC card (11 Megabits) in
the TP, talking to an Apple AirPort base station, which is connected via
Ethernet to the cable modem. Works great in both a T20 and TP600E. Go to
www.wavelan.com for info on the PC card, and www.apple.com for info on the
base station.

The Apple base station requires an Ethernet-connected Macintosh running
MacOS9 in order to set it up and configure it, but it's a one-time
operation, so if you don't have a Mac, perhaps you can borrow one from a
friend in order to get it going. The base station has Network Address
Translation if you want to use it, but I have it turned off and am just
using it as a wireless Ethernet bridge.

Cheers,
Andy
