For my 560, I wanted something very slim and lightweight, preferably
nylon, and able to fit into a backpack to transport hands-free. I didn't
care about a shoulder strap, but I wanted a good sized pocket. I ended up
going with the Targus CQUP300. Only one caveat: they call it the "Compaq
M-Series Portfolio", which means it has a few unobtrusive Compaq logos on
things like zipper pulls, et cetera. The foam inside is adjustable with
velcro, so it'll fit pretty much any slim notebook; it fits my 560 fine,
with room in the pocket for the AC adapter, networking dongle, and even my
serial port GPS. Buy.com has it available for $42.95.

Now all that's left is to print IBM logos to cover all those accursed
Compaq logos, heh.
