Ammonia should be a last resort, as it can harm some plastics and paint. A
good microfiber cleaning cloth
(e.g., a heavy duty lens cloth from your local photo store, or even the new 3M
cloths [though I don't like the nobbiness])
should remove most fingerprints without any liquid at all. Otherwise, try
misting the cloth first with a 50/50 solution of rubbing alcohol and water.
Novus makes a nice line of plastic polishes. Most of these are somewhat
abrasive, and will de-matte the finish, but
their lightest is really a cleaner, not a polish, and works well on ThinkPads.
