In the bios on the 560 (also others) there is an option for booting off PCMCIA.
While I've never done it myself, others on this list have booted from PCMCIA
hard drives. I don't see any intrinsic reason why a PCMCIA floppy should be
any
different in principle.

I should add, however, that like Ron I also don't understand how this can
possibly actually work without
socket services, or at least a point enabler, loaded first.
