3Com vs. Intel mini-pci

Awhile back, I was trying to find out if the 3com card was
"win" based and/or if the Intel part was, "win" based. I
found this in a search on IBM's website about the overview
of both parts offered by IBM that would indicate
the 3com part is not Windows reliant, but the Intel spec'd
EtherJet part is:
