For people who want a pre-configured system and do not want to play the, "hunt
for parts," game or install and configure an adapter (and I've encountered
plenty
of them), it is a big deal. Not everyone wants to open their system and
configure the card. If that were the case, IBM would offer only machines
without
cards and allow users to purchase one seperately and install it themselves as
the ONLY option. If you cruised the newsgroups, you will see plenty of people
who want to order the totally pre-configured system versus having to order
a combo card seperately and feel they had to settle when they ordered an
H1U or H2U. Obviously, it isn't, "no big deal."

Secondly, did you know ecost adds a, "handling fee?" That $3978.99 has a,
"$95.00"
handling fee appended to it right as you are getting ready to check out. If you
actually checked them out instead of just scanning availability, you would
know this.
$3978.99 turns into 4073.99 and then add $200.00 for the combo adapter and you
are now at $4273.99. Gee, look at that.... pricing right in the ball
park..(Computers4Sure
@ $4309.00) shocking huh? :-) Personally, I think that's false advertising.
You do not even
realize the handling fee until the end and see it appear on your screen or
pick through their
FAQ. I've dealt with ecost before and they are totally on the up and up
in representation and delivery except for that, "handling fee," they impose.

Do your homework, take your vitamins and say your prayers Hulkamaniacs! :)
