I recently upgraded the BIOS in my 760ED. Everything
went fine, and OS/2 and W98 run the display okay.
What is driving me crazy is the screen prior to the OS
loading. The display is only about 5" X 5" and the text
is so small my old eyes can't always make it out. It is
an XGA screen, and its not the end of the world, but the
splash screens for the OSes are small and unimpressive.
In addition, and I am assuming its the same problem, DOS
windows in OS/2 come up small as well. On other laptops,
I have not seen this problem.
Before I updated the BIOS, it was the original version,
this problem did not exist.
Is there a way to fix this up, especially the DOS
windows if possible? I don't see any reference on any of
the driver disks from IBM. I'll be they are there and I
have missed them, but I have looked :-)
Thanks very much,
John
