It looks like you cleared the 'full screen' setting. This is when the
system sutomatically expands the screen from 640x480 to the full
1024x768 screen. I did this and it looks 'ugly' but I grew tired of the
partally distorted screen splash.
The solution is to boot up Windows95/98 or OS/2 and set the screen
expansion to 'ON'.
