[600] cpu upgrade

Hello,

  I'm new user of used 600e (2645 4AU). It is 366Mhz.

  I want to upgrade CPU to Pentium III. I have p3 500 mhz, mmc 2 cpu
module. I installed it in notebook. It even boot up. The only problem
I have - i'm getting error 127 while notebook boots. CPU is not
recognized as Pentium III. In windows 2000 Pro, I got that it is
Celeron 500Mhz.
  I think, if I will able to flash in this notebook bios from 600x -
everything will work nice.. The only problem - I have no idea how to
flash 600x in 600e...

  Any ideas?
