[TP770ED] Keyboard has a malfunctioning key

Hi -

All of a sudden, the "f" key on my Thinkpad 770ED is malfunctioning. It feels different from the rest of the keys - like it's not going down quite all the low, or the "click" feels a little weak. Now, if I don't press the "f" really firmly, straight on, it doesn't respond.

This is really unacceptable, and I don't know why it just started.

Does anyone know if IBM will fix this for free? The machine is still under the 3-year warranty. How should I approach them about it?
