I agree with whomever said don't do this unless you can afford to buy
a new motherboard. It doesn't take much to ruin a motherboard or a
CPU. Even a slightly incorrect BIOS will do it.

The error messages are in your manual. May boot up when you start the
computer with the F1 key down. If you don't know your error messages,
you are just fooling around with us on the CPU change, aren't you?

If you have that kind of money to spend, why not just buy a used or
new motherboard with the CPU you want?
