Hello,
Someone might be interested. I was making research if it possible to
upgrade ANY 600e to higher speed. Yes. It is possible. Ibm has CPU
upgrade module (p/n 10L1333). It is Pentium II 400Mhz cpu module. I
made small research at PowerSourceOnline.com and found, that few
companies have it for sale. I don't think it's good way to get CPU
upgrade module.
Digilog Electronics Inc. (Tel 773-384-8300 x 309) has 8pcs in stock
for $350 each. I think, if I can get Pentium III 500mhz for $129.00
at eBay, cpu for $350 is to expensive.
And for these people, who says, that I can't do anything to my
notebook, what is not written in manual I have question: why IBM
sells this CPU modules if upgrade of CPU will void warranty?
