Yes, the 760 Li-ION batteries will work in Pentium 755s. And most 755 HDs
and accessories will work in the 760 series. Why Big Blue didn't carry this
uniformity across the 770 line also I'll never understand. They certainly
had the room and it would have been a major selling point IMHO.
Rather than looking for a Pentium CX or CD, contact Denis Hall and check his
availability of 760s. A P166/MMX 760XL with a 12.1" TFT would be a _much_
better bridge to your eventual 600 purchase (which you're going to LOVE!)
and wouldn't be _that_ much more money.
