28.8 K. I used to use it at home too because it was more reliable than the
several modems I tried on my home PC, so when I left the company and had to
give their 760C back I bought a USR Sportster. The Mwave and the USR are the
only 2 modems I have found that will not drop the connection when my wife
picks up the extension phone and tries to dial out while I'm online... and
they retrain and continue working after she hangs up.
