 I've got both a 600 and a 770ED. The 770 is a great machine, but one you
going to want to leave in one spot (like on a Selectadock III): it is big!
The 600 will go anywhere you go: pop in a wireless NIC card and your surfin
the net on the patio!

As for the build quality of the two machines, I give the nod to the 770. It
has been built to a very high standard and should give years of service.
The 600 feels a little flimsy by comparison.

Also, the DEVA card is great for DVDs and video in/out. It's only available
on the 770.

Paul..
the 600 is a terrific machine..
there were, i heard, 2 million made..
the 770Z is a wonderful machine..
supports up to 512meg and hot swap HDD's in the ultrabay..
(using w2k)..
only you can decide..
its hard to find a 600 with DVD and hardware DVD is harder.. :-)
the 770Z has it all, as long as you get one with the EVA..
