The 600 may be flimsy in comparison to a 770, sure.
But it is still a well-built machine compared to just about any
other vendor. My 600X feels like a tank compared to some Toshiba
laptops I use at work.
Microsoft must think they are reliable, too. I was leery of buying
a 600 series until I took a MS training course on W2K. They had
almost 50 600E's set up for attendees to use. They are lugged
from town to town in big boxes.
