Okay, I found the reset button which saves a ton of
aggravation, so now the trash is no longer an option ;)

The easy setup tests are the ones that come up when I
turn it on with F1 held down?

By upgrade memory, do you mean all of the RAM in the
memory sockets? I am not sure exactly what you mean.

Any technical explanation of where the thinkpad finds
the 'flag' that tells it there is a hybernate file? Is
it within the thinkpad memory, or is it on the drive? I
hate using a computer when I don't know what is going on
and laptops certainly are interesting little guys.....

Thanks for the help. At least now I am anxious to get
home and try it out, rather than be frustrated all day
