I use Ghost 6.5 (and previously 6.0.3) all the time to clone my A20p and 600
hard drives with Windows 2000, and the copies are always bootable.

But I use Ghost's drive-to-drive copy, not its image copy. The
drive-to-drive copy sets up the boot sector correctly.

Basically I just put the backup drive in the 2nd HDD adapter, run Ghost, and
hit Enter several times--the default menu choices are exactly the right
ones.

This is with the corporate/enterprise version of Ghost; I haven't tried the
personal edition.
