Being somewhat heretical, I only use a GUI browser when I am
absolutely forced to. This means HTML pages requiring Java script. I
use Lynx which is a text only browser, is blindingly fast, and has no
ads! Yes, "reading, that simple pleasure..."

I didn't have to remove 3.04, and still use it from time to
time when Java is not a factor. When images are not a factor
(remember when the 'net was 99.9% text?) and the file is
already local, I might use viewhtml

text is always in the colours and fonts that *you* have chosen.
