Well, that's kind of annoying. I can see why they would block multiple
dialups but am a little puzzled about the direct connection blocking.
Seems like they would allow that at least for an additional (small) fee.

I have my father set up to connect using my MindSpring account. He mainly
just does e-mail and a very few preset web sites, so we hardly ever
conflict. I set ICQ up to load automatically on his TP755CD (obligatory TP
content) so that I can see if we're both on. Supposedly, MindSpring will
charge me $1/hr for simultaneous connections (and this is all dialup), but
I don't think they've ever actually done it. I assume that they would if
we were both on for extended periods of time.
